Black Forest Banana Split

The Black Forest Banana Split is The Fat Resistance Diet’s trademark dessert. It’s a favorite among readers as well as the media. We’d like to share it with you.

It includes walnuts, which have several health benefits. Studies have shown that walnuts may help reduce levels of cholesterol, in particular the harmful LDL-cholesterol. They also contain anti-inflammatory omega-3 fats, which are an important part of The Fat Resistance Diet.

Black Forest Banana Split

1 Banana, Split
1 Cup Nonfat Ricotta Cheese
8 Walnut Halves
½ Teaspoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 Teaspoon Cherry Concentrate

Spoon ricotta into a dessert dish and place split banana on each side of ricotta. Put walnut halves on top and dust with cocoa powder. Drizzle cherry concentrate on top. Serves one.
