Fresh Herbs

Using fresh herbs such as parsley, cilantro and basil, is an easy and fun way to wake up winter dishes. I have been busy in the kitchen lately cooking up things like soups, chili and roasted vegetables. To get the amazing health benefits of fresh herbs, I am using them every day.

Here is how:

Pick up a bunch of fresh parsley and cilantro in the vegetable aisle at the supermarket. Look for bright green leaves and skip anything wilted. When you are making something in the kitchen, pull off a handful of fresh herbs. Rinse them well, pat dry, then give them a chop. Shower your favorite dishes with the chopped herbs. Once you get started, it becomes such an easy and enjoyable part of your routine. The Fat Resistance Diet has many recipes that show you how to use herbs. Enjoy!
